I don't know... to me (to my taste) they chose to dark a grey for the grey version...

Wait... what? It's a bright, metallic silver. I don't know how it could be much lighter. Pentax USA even occasionally mixed up the product pictures of the silver body for the white body.

EDIT: I just realized you were talking about the Prestige K-3, not the K-01.

(To find one, I had to search for 'silber' = German for 'silver').

I like "Darth Vader" for the black K-01. That's what I've been calling mine since I got it.

I'm tempted to hunt out a secondhand silver one, and swap the silver bits off my Black unit on to the Silver unit, and vice versa.
Then I can have a 'K-01 Pro Black Edition' and 'K-01 Collectors Edition Silver'

I wonder how many K-01 silver are being sold since its launch? I have never seen used silver K-01 in ebay.
