K-01 prices

I'm not thinking of selling my K-01 but just out of curiousity I just checked on the KEH website to see what they are paying for a K_01 in EX+ condition...only $57.00!!
Is that crazy?
I can see that I'm never selling mine now....

That's not the current value of a K-01, because they still have to clean it, look it over, and then mark it up. I'd say at current ebay prices between $250-300 USD is more realistice of what you'd get for it.

I'm amazed people go the KEH route for selling gear. With a little work you can do a whole lot better.

I certainly think you could get between 150 and 200 for it. The thing is that it was selling new for, what, 225 at the end of its lifecycle, so you aren't going to get a bunch for it.

Like others said, you will likely get a little more from flebay, but it is better to keep it. I too have a yellow brick but I will never sell it. It is a novelty item, and besides, I need to keep one around, even just for testing lenses.

In general $200-250 is the going rate. Unless keh or another buyer has something you want to swap for the Marketplace here will serve you better. Wish I'd been abke to keep mine

but something had to give.

KEH may be offering $57, but they were asking $250+ for a white K-01 a couple weeks ago.

Now THAT is a good example who people should really start paying attention to how they spent their money. For me buying lens - be it new or old, vintage glass in excellent condition - have always made more sense..

I bought mine (white) 22 months ago (new) togeter with the DA40XS for ~380$ and got it brought to Europe by a friend.

I thing a used body in good conditions should be in the range from 170..240$.

The prices on new or like new K-01s has actually gone UP in the last six months. I love my K-01s, and they are worth every penny in the $300 range, like new. KEH is a joke, who would sell a good K-01 for $57???

$57 is what KEH is paying for K-01s. (not selling)
