how good is k-01 's SR?

Hi i was wondering how good the in-body shake reduction is.
Oly em5 has 5axis SR and it works very good.
Does somebody have both cameras to compare?

I think the K-01's SR is as good as the K-30 or K-50. Since it has fewer axis and is an older generation, it is probably not as good as the Olympus, but the difference cannot be that big. Keep in mind, the K-01 has APSC sensor with really great noise performance, so you can easily bump the ISO. Since the K-01 is a pretty small camera (or at least was, at its introduction), you can get away with slightly longer exposures.
Another good thing about the SR is that it works with all lenses, even older ones from the 70s or whatever, as long as you input the correct focal length.
That being said, I only enable SR when taking handheld photos in low light. If I have flash or if it is day, I usually have it disabled, don't need it.

If the Olympus 5 axis is anything as the Sony 5 axis, then I don't think you will find a big difference.

Not sure if Olympus does the same, but with Sony, the 5 axis works only with native lenses and you do have a slight advantage over the K-01's SR.
When you adapt glass to it and there is no communication between the body and lens, it defaults to 3 axis just like the K-01. In that regard, personally I did not see a big difference between a7m2 IBIS and K-01 SR.

result from Olympus 5 axis shake reduction is better than sony and pentad's, mainly because the sensor is smaller, so the whole moving unit is much smaller and lighter and is easier to react quickly. Sony A7II's stabilization is great, but with a MF lens with out OSS built in, the result is not obviously better than pentax's (not worse either). At least I am not sensitive enough to tell the difference.
I saw a lot of comparison on Olympus 5 axis and sony and pentax, but I think the compare is not fair to start. Sony's does very respectful job here by moving a FF unit. I hope pentax can do as good or better on the bigger FF camera.

I get away with ridiculously slow shutter speeds thans to it, and at arm's length.
It's more difficult with lomg lenses since they weigh more... gotta buy a viewfinder for that.
But SR is good.

I get away with 1/15 using the classic left hand cradle and my arms in at my sides. I need to look down slightly at the viewfinder, but big deal.

I never shoot at arms length - even the Q. Always arms in at sides and camera cradled in the left hand. But I'm old. I read the Spotmatic User Guide when it was new. They had pictures of how to hold a camera.

It's actually better at arm's lenght, I believe, provided that you take advantage of the strap.
If you keep it taut it's a reliable anchor point.

I own K-01 and Oly e-p5 with 5-axises SR. I can confirm that oly is efficient up 3 and more stop. With k-01 less than 2.
but K-01 has lower noise than oly, you can shoot 1.5 ev ISO higher.

If you are asking because you want to shoot video, then the K-01 doesn't use IBIS at all in video mode.
