Can I use audible focus confirmation in MAN mode?

Hi All!
After some waiting I recieved adaptor for manual lenses and now I am trying to use K-01 with zoo of my M42 lenses. A focus peaking works well, but what about sound? Can I use audible focus confirmation in manual mode with old lenses?

Have the body in AF mode, and your finger on the AF button (half shutter press or AE/AF button if you opt for that). When the selected AF point is in focus, you'll get a beep.

I know that will work on DSLRs, but I'm not sure if it's possible on the K-01, since it doesn't have PDAF.

Thank you, Sandy, as you recomend I had tuned camera to AF and
I have tried AF/AE-L button, semi pressed shutter button but the camera keeps silence in both cases. I have checked the sound setting - all of them are ON.

Adam, I think sound signal could work in parallel with focus peaking. A lot of mirrorless cameras are doing so.

I sold my K-01, so I'm working from memory. I doesn't work in live view on my K-3, so my recollection may well be wrong.
Stick with focus peaking I guess
