K-01 as compact backup/second body to K30?

So I got back from my vacation, two types of completely different scenarios: South Tuscany landscapes, Berlin streets...
In both occasions I found myself in the need of shooting wide and tight very frequently (I'm currently walking around with a Sigma 70-300 and - meh - the kit 18-55, untillI get a decent deal on the Sigma 10-20 EX DC HSM I'm lusting for).
Problem is, I continuously have to change lenses on my K30 as I see something that would be better shot with a wide angle versus a zoom, or vice versa...so unscrew, screw on, time lost, momentum lost, dust gets in...
I could get a different walk around lens with more coverage in the wide angle end, but that will never get me some of the exagerated wide fish eye landscapes I like.
So I was thinking about a second, super compact camera with interchangable lenses that would be dedicated to that task (K mount compatible), while leaving the K30 with the 70-300 permanently on.
I took a look at the Penatx Q family but looks like the CMOS sensor isn't up to snuff as far as image quality goes...so the K-01 hit my radar. Although it's a bit outdated now it looks like the best solution for what I'm trying to accomplish.

Alternatives? Opinions?

Am I nuts?

Thanx

I just posted in your other thread. I do frequently use two cameras -- a K3 and K-01 when I go out shooting. I usually have two primes on them -- say the DA *55 on the K3 and a DA 15 limited on the K-01. I mentioned some of the downsides of the K-01 in the other thread, but as long as you don't need really fast operation, it is very reasonable and certainly should be pretty cheap at this point. I got mine new for 215 back in the day and have gotten way more use out of it in than that.

Hi
I have found one for really dirt cheap on ebay, and I'm thinking abou pulling the trigger...
As far as speed goes...my purpose is to use it for landscape only, as I'm getting comfortable with the K30/Sigma 70-300 for telephoto shots (looking to get the 150-500 or Bigma for wildlife).
Do you think the K-01 with a Sigma 10-20 EX DC HSM would be a good combination for landscapes (and as a backup for the K30)?
Thanx
