K-01 for astrophotography

Have anybody attached a K-01 to a telescope?

I've just bought one to try out.

Can you tether a K-01?

There are no live view tethering solutions that I know of, nor is live view mirrored over HDMI. I believe pktriggercord offers partial tethering support otherwise.

Congrats on the K-01
people find hanging a cheap lcd hood magnifier thingy off the back has some good value.
I'm thinking the auto LCD gain will make the LCD blow out the light bits anyway sadly
It's a very good sensor and that version has a nice weak low pass filter
Stick her in iso 1600 presumably and all the rest
Whats the scope ?

Nice to meet another YES fan, Nous Somme Du Soleil!

A variety of scopes:

Orion Optics VX8
Orion Optics OMC140
Vixen VMC110L
Meade 102mm refractor.

I'm still getting to grips with the K-01 so I haven't done much yet, I have a K3 as a backup.

Here's a quick Milky Way I took with my K3 a couple of nights ago.

Not sure if this will help you but there's another thread around here on using the PC/AV socket, it's a 'sort of' tethering solution. You need the right cable for the AV/PC plug. It's not HD, it's standard def but it might help you out.
