I have a 35Ltd as well And the 20-40 Ltd is an awesome lens by itself- has great close-up capabilities!

Something about that sensor! I haven't liked image results any better until the K70 and KP came along.

I still have the 40XS that came on it though. I love that lens. It's a great walk around lens on the K-1.

I'm glad I got another K-01. I missed it after I sold it to my friend. Definitely an under-rated camera IMHO.

I really want a yellow one though. Love the look.

I have my 40XS as well. I only bought the DA40 Ltd because I unexpectedly won a bid on eBay- which is also how I acquired the 20-40. The XS is amazing, and it's rounded blades make it a bokeh monster.

I miss mine.....

I always found the 40 Ltd and 40xs to small on the k-01. Not enough to hold on to. I liked the 31mm Ltd on it very much.

I have a 35Ltd as well And the 20-40 Ltd is an awesome lens by itself- has great close-up capabilities!

I have all the DA Limited primes and I well understand the reason for the 20-40's existence, having alternated between the DA21 and DA40 for a solid week last year to good effect... but once the K-1 had been revealed as the surprisingly (relatively) affordable winner that it is, I knew there was one in my future and no point in getting any more DA-only lenses. But I can see how someone coming into the system or trading well up in capability, and who didn't need or want the K-1, might walk out of the store with (e.g.) a KP or K-70, DA15, DA20-40 and DA70 and be perfectly happy for life. If I were hypothetically forced to rebuild my entire system around an APS-C setup tomorrow, that might be a tempting way to do it.

Actually, despite having a K-1 for regular use and KP for tele, K-01 is still my favorite just for video and sublime colors. I got a 2nd-hand Zacuto Finder to make the LCD issue go away.

I love my K-01 so much I have stopped buying DSLR's (I already have three - all Pentax). The K-01 has become my "go to" camera. I have really come to appreciate the mirrorless features and I don't miss the optical viewer anymore at all. Although I grew up with my eye glued to the optical viewfinder of my 35mm SLR I wear glasses now and I like that I can use live view with my glasses on and not miss anything. I sincerely hope that Pentax eventually offers a K-02.They can leave the camera pretty much as is just give me the latest greatest sensor upgrade and I will be happy.

K-01s - perfect attachments for the 5 DA Limited lenses.
(Storm trooper is full spectrum, Smurf how has replacement mode dial. )

I would love to have a K-02 with FF and EVF but I probably could not afford it. However, A K-02 with the new 24 mp (or better) sensor like the one in the KP and improved AF would make a really nice Christmas present to myself.

A compact bundle of joy. I too would love an ff sensor in the same package (oh, and switch around the green and red buttons).
