I just ordered my bumblebee to go with my Stormtrooper. I can't wait. I want all 5. This is the first camera model I've ever wanted to collect.

Sounds like a smart move to me, Larry.
Please post pictures of your K-01 siblings together, after your Bumblebee arrives!

I considered selling my K-01, but I think I'm going to hang onto it. It could become a collector's item since it's so quirky and capable.

I loved my K-01 Panda so much that when a Bumblebee was available, I bought that one too. It's the only camera I've "collected."
The main problem with this camera was it cost $800 at launch. Like you I bought the Panda (when Pentax dropped the price to $299) thinking I would use it as a cheap backup, but I ended up using it all the time. Between the Panda and Bumblebee, I've spent less than $500.

K-01s - perfect attachments for the 5 DA Limited lenses.
(Storm trooper is full spectrum, Smurf how has replacement mode dial. )
Looking forward to the K-02 (FF with EVF)
I would 100% pull the Black and Silver apart, and swap all the plastic parts over, full a full silver and a full black body.
