Welcome to the Forums. The K-01 is a great camera. People seem to have a love/hate relationship with the styling, but I am one who loves it. I use mine as a regular "work horse". mostly with Sigma 18-200 attached.

You're right about the love/hate relationship. Every time I think I'm going to part with mine, I take it out for a spin, just to remind myself why I still have it. Just an amazing little camera. I've stopped hauling my K-1 out for street photography (too cumbersome), the K-01, with either the FA31 or FA77, is my weapon of choice. It has it's limitations but what it does do, it does very very well. And I always get comments on it. Nobody knows what it is.

Nice shot.

When I got the K-1, I knew either my K-01 or my K-5 would have to go... while I love the K-5, I just put it up for sale.
The K-01 may not have a viewfinder but it is relatively compact, takes all the K mount lenses, delivers good IQ and looks kind of cool (not boring anyway).

I have two K-01's - one white and one yellow. I bought the second one for a fraction of what I paid for the first. I retired at the end of December, and my wife and I are taking off this Wednesday for a 45-day trip. I'm taking the 2 K-01's and four lenses. I used the yellow K-01 a few years ago when we drove to Glacier National Park and the Grand Tetons. The K-01 does not disappoint!

I bought a K-01 for my wife, but I use it more than she does. It is a great little camera.

I'd love to see some pictures of Kuwait City taken with your K-01, I've always wanted to visit there but never had the chance.

I like the K-01 except for anything that include movement. The shutter lag sucks , other than that it's a good macro and landscape camera if you don't manually focus.
