All black K-01?

Just browsing through some old brochures, it strikes me that the "white" K-01 has black parts where the "black" K-01 has silver parts.
So, might it be possible to acquire a non-functional "white" K-01, strip off the appropriate parts and re-build my "black" K-01 as an "all-black" camera?

or just sent the silver parts off to get it anodized, probably cheaper than a donor camera, even cheaper if you just paint it

Of course it's possible - anything assembled can be disassembled and reassembled - but getting the knobs off will require breaking glue bonds and may not go well. It would be cheaper and MUCH easier to just paint the parts. Also, having both, I can tell you that the black parts on the white/silver bodies have a smooth, bluish-black finish, while the yellow/black bodies have a textured finish that is a slightly "warmer" black. It's just different enough to look "wrong".

Painting it would also be following the tradition of Henri Cartier-Bresson, who painted the silver parts of his Leicas.

The concept is attractive, but the cost of trans-Atlantic shipping would probably be the limiting factor

Even a non-functional K-01 has got to have a degree of value purely from the aesthetic point of view, so unless you're almost "giving it away" I'll have to pass
