I do not if it is slow, but it certainly is something else. Who cares if it slow, why are we in a hurry? The results this camera can give you are splendid, that is what taking pictures is all about. Do you think it is slow, choose another mirrorless there are plenty to choose from. But why always billboarding the negative? I am a lucky one who has that bright Yellow one!

Yes, 6 f/s is not slow in my opinion either (but Matti Sulanto thinks so in a comparison with the cameras of today). It's actually faster than the Pentax K-1!

At no point did I hear him say the continuous fps was why it was slow. Slow focusing. Slow operations in general. Blackout between shooting a frame and composing another. These are valid criticisms- but likely not that different from other 2012 cameras.

He clearly didn’t like the camera. And that’s ok.

His friend Robin Hong was all in admiration of this camera in the latter's video.

I think Matti just having fun creating that video, especially when his buddy Robin Wong (Matti is currently staying in Kuala Lumpur temporarily, same city where Robin is living) released a "Why Olympus E-PL7 is better than Ricoh GR III" video earlier.

Knowing there are 2 big groups they could capture: Pentax K-01 fans and Ricoh GR III fans, it's just matter of traffic.

It doesn't do 6 frames per second. At least it doesn't do that with RAW photos. It can take about 1 frame per second when shooting RAW. You can force it take a 3 frame RAW burst by setting the camera to take multiple exposures, but then you have to wait a couple of seconds for the camera to write the images to the SD card before you can take another photo.

Shooting jpegs you can do 6 fps for 1 second (6 frames) after which the frame rate drops to 3 fps.

I own a K-01 and it really does slow you down to use it. It doesn't focus quickly. The buffer fills extremely quickly and takes a while to clear. I still enjoy it as a camera and have been pleased with the results I have gotten from it over time.

At no time did that seem like it was about fps.

I watched that video yesterday and it felt more like he was only seeing the negatives of the K-01, as opposed to Robin's video which focused more on the positive attributes. I suppose that shouldn't be surprising since the K-01 has been a pretty polarizing camera since it was first released.

So it's more like Matti | cup half empty; Robin: cup half full?

He could have stated that within a minute, he needs almost eleven minutes to really say what he thinks!
