RIP - Bing's Cashback

There isn't a real category for this to fit into, so I'll slide it in here.

Microsoft's Bing Cashback has been a real hit here over time, providing discounts of 2% to I think the largest number I remember was something like 20 or 30%. Well, it appears that MS has finally discovered that folks were using the cashback without really using the bing service for little else. Gee who would of thought!!!!

So according to this article, Microsoft finally realized that bribing folks to use bing was not working (but a lot of folks here on the forums were able to score some pretty nice equipment along the way), and it looks like the cashback idea is going the way of the Dodo bird.

I think the folks here on the forum were always very interested - in reducing their purchase price. I am only sorry that I was not able to score one of those 30% cash reductions.
