My dad no longer needs his Tivo service (coming on 2 years now) and I'm about to cancel it.
Talking to the Tivo rep, he mentioned that I might want to ask around to see if anyone would be interested in taking over my account as it has the following advantages:
Tivo Premiere
- no contract term (you pay month to month)
- upgrade to a new Tivo Premiere for US$199
- antenna/cable-card ready
- monthly service fee of $12.95/month
If you are interested, please let me know as I will give you a reference number that authenticates you to Tivo as the person taking over my account.
There's no cost to you other than the monthly programming fee.
