I thought the whole idea was for the light to come through the lens, not the lens body.

I have 2 questions about this.. First, What is a Focus Finder on a Nikon lens? Second, He used his cell phone to light the first 10 sec sample and the strobe for the second. Why bother doing a 10 second exposure in the second test?

He means the focus window where the distance scale is shown.
That's some nice strobe modifiers that he has. The large dome costs an arm and a leg.

With all that nice gear and sweet studio you'd think he'd get his own white balance right. And maybe a lavalier mic or something.

How long before someone here conducts a similar test with the DA* zooms? Wait for it..

A light leak is a light leak. Why waste time with different ISO settings and exposure? I can't wait to see the promotional ads the online dealers will have, Free roll of electrical tape with each Nikon 24-70, limited time offer!

Jesus would use any camera capable of mounting his Takumar lenses, which are the only lenses He uses.

He'd take a fish, turn it into a Leica, take photos, say something like, "let there be dark," develop the film, turn the lights back on, turn the Leica back to a fish, and finally roast it with leeks and lemon to perfection. Yum!

Oh, and the photos would be perfect.
