Ohhhh the fun that ensues when zealots confront each other.

p.s. and before I get blasted for it I am not talking about anyone on this board. I am talking about zealots like this pastor and the muslim radicals who will undoubtedly soon issue a fatwa against him.

2 wrongs don't make a right; some people seem to think it does.

Just cause you have the right to do something doesn't mean you should =).

1) This Pastor is a nut.

2) Imam Faisal who's heading up the WTC Islamic Center seems like a reasonable guy. I saw the CNN interview and was very impressed.

He said the war shouldn't be Christianity versus Islam, but Christian and Muslim against Christian and Muslim RADICALS.

It should go even farther than that Ira... It should be the vast majority of moderate and reasonable humans against zealots and radicals of all types... religious, political and ethnic just to name the big 3.

The failure of individuals to understand this simple idea keeps a steady drumbeat going for restriction of freedoms. Law is not the limit of morality or good sense.

Let me try to state my point a little differently, These ministers that want to burn Koran are dipsticks but acting within their rights as citizens of the U.S.
The fact that the government , millitary and general population of the most powerful nation on the planet are living in fear of the consequences of their actions is digusting.
Obama & Clinton lowered the status of their positions by wasting 1 minute on this issue.
General Petreaus should have adressed the would be terrorists of the world and assured them that we would deal with their actions against Americans / America swiftly and severely rather than telling Jones he was worried about the consequences. Y'know warn the criminal enemy not the law abiding citizen.
This loosely organized gang of Islamic terrorists , fundimentists , extremists, rabid animals has the entire country running around with it's panties in a wad.
I for one am sick of it. The biggest slap in the face is that these "alledged" terrorists are using our own courts against us.
Open your eyes folks , the bad guys are winning and we are allowing it!
This will all be a chapter in our grandchildren's history books called "How the West was Won" by Abdulah Barrack Jones

Just a few minutes ago, I watched a news clip of protesters in Iraq and Afganistan burning American flags. They don't seem the least bit concerned if they offend anyone. What I find truly offensive is that American soldiers are dying while fighting for their freedom. Even more disturbing is that most Americans don't even care and are more upset about a nutcase cracker down in Fla.

There are lots of folks doing a bangup job at embarrassing this country by allowing the sh!t that goes on. Most Americans are more concerned with PC treatment of terrorists than in stopping terrorism.
Ignorance and appathy will be the downfall of a great nation.
BTW I wonder whats going on with Brittany and Linsay today?
