13 years ago this piece of trash was added to the platform should it be removed of course it should should it ever have been added in the first place of course it shouldn't have but 13 years ago times were diffrent than they are now. Does it make it right ? No. Have any candidates actually followed the platform? I doubt it, will this be an issue now of course it will be because the headline is sensational in nature. How much similar crap is in both parties platforms i wonder both at state and local levels.

is against how before the 60s black men were not allowed to marry white women etc in certain parts. But somehow being gay changes that. Humans are humans. Funny how this hardcore free capitalist and our communist messiah can't, isn't it?

If I had to pic a political group to live under, between California, New York or Montana, I'd take Montana in a heartbeat!

Well they make it sooooo easy........

We are at a point where our establishment is sliding into policies of such disastrous impact that they will in fact fundamentally challenge the survival of America as we know it," Gingrich said during his speech to the fifth annual Values Voter Summit in Washington.

"On the one front we have a secular socialist machine led by (President) Obama, (House Speaker Nancy) Pelosi, and (Senate Majority Leader Harry) Reid, and on the other front we have radical Islamists who would fundamentally change this country into a system none of us in this room would recognize," he continued to thunderous applause.

OF course you can all use the "look what you've done for me lately" even though the middle has been gutting for DECADES.........

he Great Recession has taken away the small gains made during the 1980s and 1990s and ripped open wounds that were festering for 30, 35, or 40 years. The middle class is more anxious now than at any time in generations. The worries aren’t new; they are just on another level.

After a great leap forward in the three decades after World War II, the typical American family has barely improved its financial status in the three decades since the 1970s. Any increase in income has been largely due to working longer hours, including sending Mom out into the world to earn a paycheck.

Unfortunately, that paycheck is getting smaller. The average weekly pay, adjusted for inflation, has dropped 13% since peaking in 1973.

Oh check out the year.......

Other than making gays clearly aware that Montana republican leaders think they should all be hanging on barbwire fences, the "make gays illegal" plank is toothless. A party plank is not LAW nor does it have any legal standing or sway over anyone but the party hacks who swear to do their best to advance it.

Mr Wolf, as Mr Riley says no one in Montana is going to make gays illegal. The only person making them illegal is the messiah. By keeping don't ask don't tell he is the one saying how much he hates gays. Just like Bush before him and Clinton who enacted

All I was doing was pointing out the kind of stupid, out-of-date thinking that's still present in party platforms.

You fabricated the rest in your little brain.

It may be toothless, but it is nonetheless offensive to anyone with dear friends who are gay.

I can see that President Obama's policy on medical marijuana has not been wasted.

GeneV,
You can call me crazy and paranoid all you want but I have and never will touch that garbage. Recreational drugs are for total losers who are too chicken to face reality. They must escape thinking on their own. As I probably pound to death I'm a

I'm a staunch atheist. That being the case it means I believe this is my one and only chance. So why would I waste even one second in a purposeful altered state? I want to experience every last moment as myself until that time I become nothingness.

Mr Wolf,
Sure I've had wine and beer but used for cookling, so no going out of your mind. Just like I have some clothing with hemp.

Gene,

Naturally I agree with that 100%. The plank is offensive as all get out. My comment was simply directed at the fact that it is also, from a legal and statutory standpoint, totally and completely powerless and unenforcable. The only thing it really does is highlight the bigotry and irrational fear that a certain portion of our society still has about gay citizens.
