USA: All states except AR, HI, ID, MO, NE, ND, WI, WY. Live in NY; have lived in DC

Canada: BC, NS, ON, QC, MB. Have family in Nova Scotia

Greenland, Iceland, Mexico, Panama, various Caribbean islands

England, Ireland, Wales, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Greece, Turkey

Libya, Morocco, Ethopia

Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, China and HK, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea

Might be some more places that don't come to mind. Travel has been a mixture of business, pleasure and military service. Have spent more time on airplanes than I cared to and can't stand the sight of an airport at this point in time.

In USA... Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, Massachusets, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New York, Florida, Tennessee, California (just in airports.... Illinois, Texas, Georgia, Ohio, New Jersey)

Out of USA...

OK... this is sadly pathetic but I have never been to Canada even though it's only a couple hours away. I have only been to Italy (there were stops on the way I think, but I don't remember where).

lol ... unique list I've never seen on any other board before. Let me pull up Google Maps...

In the USA:
All states that touch the Atlantic Ocean, Vermont, Louisiana, Illinois, Nevada (Las Vegas ... perhaps a State all its own! <grin>), California, Seattle, Hawaii.

In Canada:
Vancouver, Toronto (I think; I forget)

Mexico:
Cancun (that's it I think)

Carribean:
Over the course of a number of cruises, many (the majority?) of the small islands, and Puerto Rico.

Europe:
England, Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Hungary [the Mudda-Fadda-land!], Italy, Greece, Malta, Sardegna (I think, perhaps the cruise didn't stop there), and Monaco (ya!).

Africa:
Tanzania

For someone who hates to travel (I like it when I'm there... hate the process of getting to and from there!) this list surprises the heck out'a me!!! Gotta show it to my wifie who always complains about me not going anywhere! Though she has been to 2x or 3x more then I, probably around the world 2 or 3 times; and her parents even more.
Hungary [the Mudda-Fadda-land!]

What is your problem with my country? :|

Maybe he meant that his mother and father are from Hungary?

Anyway, why are you reviving ancient threads?

Although I'm not as well traveled as some of you, here's my modest list:

U.S.
Florida (I was born and live there), Alabama & Mississppi (I went to college there), Tennessee (my parents live there), Louisiana, South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Wyoming, Pennsylvania, California
have passed through Maryland, Montana, and Colorado
Will be adding Maryland to the places where I've actually spent some time towards the end of this year, as my sister will be moving there in June.

Outside of U.S. (thanks to a cruise)
Grand Cayman
Roatan, Honduras
Cozumel/Playa del Carmen, Mexico
Belize City, Belize

As time goes on, my goal is to add extensively to this list, as I have a serious case of wanderlust.

You forget Toronto? It's my favourite city, but then again I'm mad for food.

But I've visited every Canadian province except Newfoundland. Plus Ireland, UK (London, Bristol, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Cardiff, etc.), Helsinki, Oslo, Bergen, Stockholm, Berlin, Tallin and some small towns in France. Oh and a few places in the USA: Seattle, Detroit, Buffalo, NYC, Virginia Beach, Utah, Minnesota, Maine, Chicago and Ft. Lauderdale. I have a vague memory of being in the Bahamas once.

Judging by how much some people have traveled it would do to read about becoming Carbon Neutral.

Places I most want to visit? Japan, India, Toronto (again). And wherever my friends are.

OK, I'll Play -
  • As a youth my family took a meandering car trip West every summer.
  • In college I was a Varsity Cheerleader at Univ. of Virginia, so I traveled with the footbal and basketball teams.
  • I have traveled extensively over a 30 year business career.
US Missed: Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Louisiana, Alabama, Rhode Island.

Overseas have stayed in: England, Scotland, Wales, France. Canada (Ontario, in a canoe, for three weeks) & Mexico aren't really overseas.

Wouldn't it be fun if we all could dig into our slide boxes and post an image from each location we have stayed in?

Born and raised in NYC, still in the NYC area (Long Island).

USA - NY, NJ, CT, RI, MA, NH, ME, PA, OH, IN, IL, WI, MD, DE, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, LA, TN, KY, WV, CA

Canada - Nova Scotia

Europe - Italy, Spain, France, Germany, England, Ireland, Scotland, Greece, Turkey

Having been in the US Navy helps. The only countries I've been to since are Canada (Nova Scotia), Germany, and France.

I would love to visit the states I haven't hit yet and the countries in Europe I haven't been to as well as Asia, Africa, Australia/New Zealand, and South America.

Canada
Nova Scotia
New Brunswick
Quebec
Ontario
Thunder Bay, Ontario (it really is like a foreign country)
Vancouver (very brief)

USA
Vermont
New Hampshire
Massachusetts
Connecticut
New York
New Jersey
Pennsylvania
Ohio
DC
Maryland
Virginia
West Virginia
Kentucky
Tennessee
Alabama
Mississippi
Louisiana

Mexico
Merida, the Yucatan by car

Cuba
La Habana

China
Beijing
Shenyang

Hungary
Most of the country by car

Slovakia
The Tatra mountains by bus and climb

UK
London and north to Scotland by car

Anxiously tapping my toe, and wondering where to go next... my last couple vacations have been decompression, just going north to chill out by a lake.
