Heehee. I suppose, now that you mention it, the birdies we get here are generally quite well-behaved in those ways (Lots of cardinals, chickadees, titmouses, a few morning doves and thrashers. Sometimes little finches and wrens.) And we seem to be on some migration routes. Not a lot of starlings and sparrows mobbing the place and pooping all over, (Now that you mention it, I very rarely see any of such here,) even if there can be quite a little crowd when I'm out under the carport doing whatever.
I like the company, and I like squirrels, (There's little danger of them getting out of hand, between the roads and birds of prey) I don't think they raid my birdfooder much, either: I think they have to take a flying jump at it to knock some seed down, and some of it falls just from bird traffic, anyway.
They are, however, not around so far today. I may have to go looking for em.
