For the photographer who thinks he has everything...

Recycled camera lens jewelry! =D

re:vision recycled camera lens bracelets - Unique, modern jewellery with impact. Oye Modern.

LOL!

Not quite my thing, but I have to admit that it's pretty original. I wonder if you can buy by brand?

Neat, I do like it, (I used to be quite the queen of bangles, people could hear me coming late at night. ) but one hopes it doesn't mean that good old glass is being parted out for that. Kind of bothers me that the price might outweigh what some of those lenses get in nice operating condition.

There's actually a bit of a concern in Steampunk circles about too much of the actual old stuff getting destroyed to make jewelry and the like. There's no reason I couldn't make stuff just like that out of truly DOA parts and optics, though, very simple, really.

(I think with forearms like those, you might be looking for a pretty beefy focusing ring, for yourself, Pat. Some of those might take some curf-cuts inside if they've also got thick bits inside, in order to let them bend properly. I'm not sure you could get me to take a saw and grinder to a fast 85 or something, though. )

Or perhaps the F-stop watch? (it's probably been mentioned here before...)

There is a slight problem with the title... No photographer ever thinks they have everything!

I agree. A great idea, but way over-priced.
