Just a few choice tidbits........
Debt Panel Floats Public Option for Health Care - Washington Wire - WSJ

Creating a public health insurance option — perhaps the most contentious idea of last year’s health overhaul debate — is among the possible solutions for reducing federal spending outlined in today’s debt commission report.

The draft by the co-chairmen of the White House-sponsored National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform calls for, among other things, increasing cost sharing for enrollees of Medicare and Medicaid, lowering payments to health-care providers that participate in Medicare and cutting payments to lawyers as part of an effort to curb medical malpractice lawsuits.

Why are so many Americans afraid of universal health care?
Why are medical proceedures MORE expensive in America?
Why are people DYING in a civilised society from lack of basic health care?

Europe and Australia adopted national health programmes many years ago.
Americans don't really care about other Americans otherwise they would cover EVERYONE! not just those who have jobs!

Look at the mess the rest of the world is in. It's obvious that the financial mess that "Socialist" Europe is in is caused by socialized health care and the mess the USA is in is caused by monkeys throwing poo at the San Diego zoo.

The interest rates are very high here because the economy is GOOD
So not all SOCIALISED Medicine stinks...!

Europe will fracture I suspect back to it's native curencies....

A REALLY REALLY BIG PLUS 1 ON THIS
Canada also has had universal health care for going back to 1946 in Saskatchewan. Tommy Douglas who implemented it was voted the greatest Canadian in a contest the CBC ran in 2004 ahead of many influential and important people due to his impact on the country as a whole. For you americans he is Keifer Sutherland's grandfather
