Pentax K100d or K100D Super, which one?

My K100D was stolen a few weeks ago and I would like to buy a new body. I can get the K100D body for $379 or the K100D super for $469 at Beach or Buydig.com. Is there any reason to buy the Super over the first?...I know it has dust shake and can use the newer SDM lenses... does anyone know if the $90 diff is worth it?...thanks

Funny thing, when it was stolen, they left the kit lens that was sitting right beside it and took a cheap Ebay lens that was attached...so they knew nothing of what they was taking.

You mentioned the 2 differences of the bodies. Are you planning on buying $750-dollar (HSM) lenses? If not, the plain K100D is all you need.

would the shake reduction actualy work and be worth it, yes, the lens is a joke for the price of the body and the features of the camera

from the reviews I've been reading about the K100D it should work fairly well (I guess results will vary depending on the lens, amount of shaking, ...) They claim you can shoot about 2 stops more with Shake Reduction then without or something like that.

Anyways, I thought the anti-Dust features of the K100D Super would be worth the added price over the K100D ?? But since my store only sells the Super I didn't really have a choice between K100D and K100D Super, only the K10D was another option they had.

You're talking about the eBay lens he mentioned right ? (just making sure I don't need to get a "better" one soon since I bought the K100D Super with the kit-lens (it's cheaper then buying the body and the same lens seperatly ).

A joke in the price balance, Im sure the lens would cost much more than the body of the camera and a person might as well get the k10d and possibly be professional or rich to do so...

This has been asked quite a few times here. I've read many opinions about the dust reduction's lack of efficiency. I would take the K100D over the Super any day of the week. That extra $100 will buy you a couple nice used manual lenses or get you halfway to a P-FA 50mm 1.4.
