Man, they make that look easy! Very few edits, so most of that was just, "Roll camera" and "let 'er rip!"

no Astaire made it look easy in everything but he was a devil for choreographing shots before, it was a long way from roll camera and let er rip i assure you. HIs magic was taking a structured and rehearsed piece and making it look off the cuff. a quote from Fred on working with his [primary choreographer Hermes Pan

there is real art in making the difficult look simple. Nothing Gene Kelly did ever looked simple, though he was a great dancer
