When my little guy asked if he could join Beavers (5 year old scouting in Canada) there was no adults to run the group.....the best thing I ever put my hand up for. Talk about great family memories (and photos). I'm just back from a winter camp....exhausted but still smiling.

Cooking, vegetable gardening, video games, running, and cycling

Although between work and kids the only way I can enjoy hobbies is incidentally with the rest of life i.e. cooking for the family, commuting by bike, and taking pictures of the kid...

I am hoping that the amount of time life slows down at some point as the diapers disappear and I am able to have some more free time to myself.

Hey mustangjoey,

I have an Xbox 360, but I'm looking to trade it for a PS3. It's more my kids "hobby" than mine, I prefer my WWII games on the computer.
Aside from that I really miss building my rods, I think the last one I did was 6 years ago, an '84 Mustang with a 400hp 302. Had to sell it.
And like so many photographers I see on here, carpentry is a big hobby of mine, and my source of income for my LBA!

I used to do a lot of fly fishing before I took up photography but I've slacked off quite a bit.

@mustangjoey: my ebay user name's mustangdaddy... got a thing for 'em too.

I've got my eye on a 66' Mustang, but my sis had an emergency so I had to postpone that for awhile. I also collect hats, panama hats are my fave. I also play pool - but not as much as I'd like. Gaming too, though I'm more a fighting game kind of guy (Tekken). The kind who goes to the arcade to challenge others lol.
