String stabilizer "monopod"

Found this, I think it's pretty a pretty interesting DIY stabilizing device.

I tried to make one and it does remove vertical camera shake.

Not bad for $0.50 worth of stuff!

Anyone else try this?

I'm tripping out over how simple that idea is, and I know I already have everything I need at home!

I made one of those, only I used a length of chain instead of string.
