I believe Reagan was President of the Actors Union in his younger days. The rank and file union workers were some of his biggest supporters.

Solidarity and John Paul II did virtually all the heavy lifting on that one.
without violence,both before and after.Few times in history has this been matched.
If Pres.Reagan's supporters want to revise history let them try,the world knows different.
Truth be told,2 hometown boys,one from Popowo,other from Wadowice.
