But the question is, does bok choi really like *you*?

Some veggies are rather picky.

I think it's more of a one-sided relationship. After all, it's difficult to like someone who's eating you.

Richard.

Haha. Burros. They could make good photo assistants.

Uff da, as they say.

How they take it out of the *working* people, eh? Expensive to be employable, isn't it?

More than a week off a plane, every possible precaution taken previous to the flights, and I still feel like my head is about to explode every time I sit up. I got the upper resp infection from you know where apparently while I was in SF. I'm recovering, oh so slowly, I think, but I don't think my head has figured that out yet. My ears are clear now supposedly, but you know that revolving, light headed sick feeling you get when you've had way too much to drink and you can't walk straight? That's about right now, pretty much.

Oh the other hand I did get to take some pretty photographs despite all the rain. If I can ever get to editing them I'll show you folks a few....

I sure can tell that spring is in the air. Living right on the Mississippi flyway, I can't go ten minutes without hearing those lovely Canadian Honkers flying north. They sure can make a racket, but it's a nice racket.

I've been hearing them down in our stream valley for the last couple of days. They must be migrants--the ducks spend the summer on the stream but not geese--they head for local ponds where they can be a real nuisance.

I'd be willing to try that. Is it low GI?

As it is rye flour based I would assume the GI is pretty good

I don't know if my finnish mother ever made this for me as a kid or not. I kinda doubt it.

I just picked up my daughter from a sleep-over. When we got back we found a phone message which turned out to be a complete transcription of our ride home. Apparently, she had butt-dialed the number when she got in the car.
