three machines - two images

I have three machines, with Pentax imaged wallpapers.
My Laptop and at work:

My main Vista machine

Edit: Image removed from the web site (taking up too much space)

At present my server has no wallpaper - it's a server for heavens sake.

Here's mine. I used 'Snagit' to show my entire desktop area. I am not sure where the image came from - I wish I had taken it, though!
I think it is a great picture of a gorgeous creature. It looks poised, ready to leap - I love it!

I used this shot as my wallpaper for most of the summer. I love the wind blowing through the beach grass, blue skies, and white clouds. And in this case even the vignetting of the kit lens.

I use a freeware program "Wallmaster" to cycle thru a list of 50 or so shots I've taken over the years. Some landscapes, a few waterfalls, some horseback shots of my dear spousal unit, some marching band pictures from our son'e university, even one shot of a coworker (he jumped in front of the camera when i was taking a snapshot of a whiteboard covered with brainstrming scribbles - and it was a perfect illustration of why we call him Wild Bill).

Program rotates thru the photos, so I get lots of variety.

This is a scanned image of a photo that was taken prior to my wedding when Bec was getting ready at home. So not the best quality ... but i still like it as my background.

Hey everyone,
I love your wallpapers. I change mine everytime I shoot a photo. Change is good! At work, we use one PC at the station. Sometimes we fuss over wallpaper, screensavers, formats, etc. Lately, though, everyone is happy with my photos as wallpaper and screensaver because I went to local parks and took photos. They are places the others recognize. I just e-mail them to myself and download them on the nightshift (when the boss isn't looking).

what fun!

Another wallpaper from Oregon

Many of you will recognize Multnomah Falls, in the Columbia River gorge.

Funny, I was just wondering if someone had such a thread going. I just changed mine from one of the cats...

to a soothing green dragonfly to remind me of summer, now that the leaves are nearly all gone.

I have very few icons on my desktop, but I still like a really simple image - less distracting. I guess that's why I have few icons, too!
