and maybe a couple vivitar lenses to match?

VIVITAR SERIE 1 PRO GOLD 50th Anniversary for Pentak KA | eBay

I've seen the lx several times before, but I never knew vivitar joined the band wagon some time ago

With a starting bid of 700 for the vivitar's, and im sure the pentax goes for a lot more than that, one might have to pull out that gold bar in the closet to pay for them both

NO ONE will question you photographic prowess though

how did I miss that thread

Still very interesting however! Anyone know how much the gold lx + gold 50mm 1.2 combo go for?

Threads are easily missed. No need for embarrassment. I don't know if I've ever seen one sell but the asking on ebay for the LX and 50 is well into if not way past the $2500 range. Certainly more collectable in my mind than a couple shitty vivitar lenses (assuming they are the same ones that can be found for about $100 total).

Sorry, but I always thought these were STUPID. I wouldn't turn one down of course if someone gave me one, but it'd never leave the house. And frankly thats a crime for a camera like the LX.

Awe come on

I could totally see myself walking around town with one of these bad boys Of course I'd have something to defend myself on hand as well (say a takumar?) just in case

In all honesty, considering im 17, I think I might get one when im older. Im already in the beginning stages of making a shelf to showcase my old pentax stuff, and this would add to it nicely

(assuming I get rich that is )
