PF T-shirt Design Voting

Ok, I hopefully fixed 6 and 7. All the pictures were saved to my computer, then uploaded to photobucket, then linked here. So if one doesnt work, none should work, not sure why those two are bad.

Also, #7, as stated, this will not be able to be printed from top to bottom, only 18" inches, so it may not be the best choice in this case.

Just as a heads up, since #1 is in the lead, I will try to use as close to this logo as possible, replacing the various shades of gray for white, allowing it to be 2 colors. White and red, (black being the color of the shirt, thus not having to be printed to be black). this has not won yet, im just simply stating in case it does win.

This should keep the costs at $22 per shirt. ($3 of that goes back to the forum as a donation) With each extra color, its about a $1 more per shirt, but since I like the first one as well, and if we can keep it to 2 colors, I will eat the extra $1 per shirt myself.

Shipping will be about $5 Domestic, and $15 international (Canada is only $13) I know this is a little on the steep side for the international, but hey, its expensive to ship out of the country, I wish there was something I could do about it.

I will go over more once we get voting finalized, and everyone is ready to order.

If #1 or #10 win, will the "By: RF" be removed, or at least made less prominent? (not that I don't appreciate the artists effort!)

Also, in regards to the "pentaxforums.com" logo in post #31, I think that "Pentax" should be left red but the "forums.com" should be white.

The signature will be removed. (or yes, made much less prominent) and I agree, I think the white looks better for forums (actually how i had it originally) but it would be and extra $1 per shirt to change it to white, and in an effort to keep costs down, I went with all red, Unless you are all willing to pay $23 per shirt, rather than $22, in that case i can go back to white.

Great designs, tough to choose. My narrowed down field of choice was 1, 7 & 14. I went with 1 but I'd be happy with any of the seventeen submissions.

My only suggestion regarding the Pentax in the K-mount is that PENTAX could be a bit bigger...

No offense, but none of these rock my boat at all.

Wish I knew about submitting entries for this, but I've kind of been offline for a few weeks.

My main beef is that none actually convey that this is a CAMERA to people who don't know the Pentax name at all.

Sorry, but in an effort to keep things simple, I wanted to keep the submissions to a few days, and the voting to a few days. As it was there are 17 submissions which is more than i had thought. And I have found in the past that people are on board for about a week, after that they tend to loose interest. So if 100 people commit to buy a shirt, if it takes longer than a week to get the ordering straightened out, only 50 people still order one.

I wanted to atleast open it up for forum input, rather than designing and printing it myself then offering the finished product for sale. Atleast this way everyone feels involved.

Maybe next years design!

I still love the K mount one... If it could be centered on the front chest I could wear it around feeling like a Pentax Iron Man!

My thoughts were for it to be on the back, with the pentax forums logo (posted a few threads up) to be on the front chest (pocket) area

My vote went for #6. It would have been for #17 if Pentax were to provide some real support for their vintage lenses. Focusing aids in the viewfinders and non-crippled lens mount are first things that come to mind.

Wish I knew about submitting entries for this, but I've kind of been offline for a few weeks.
