16 year old and Bachmann

Myers challenged Bachmann to a public debate.

Her April 29 letter to Bachmann included, “I have found quite a few of your statements regarding the Constitution of the United States, the quality of public school education and general U.S. civics matters to be factually incorrect, inaccurately applied or grossly distorted,” Myers said. “The frequency and scope of these comments prompted me to write this letter.”

Bachmann would be wise to ignore the challenge. It would be very embarrassing for her to be made a fool of by a 16 year old.
It does bring up an interesting thought though. Is it precocious teenagers like this that cause people like Bachmann to want to gut the school system.

Makes you wonder sometimes if Bachmann makes these comments just to get a rise out of people. Soft of like a female Trump. Would hate to think that any member of congress could make that many mistakes.

She would look bad regardless of the outcome of the debate.
If by some fluke she won, she would be seen as someone who felt insecure enough that she had to publicly prove she was better educated than a 16 year old High School student.
If she lost, she would be a diplomate, elected official who was less knowledgeable of history and the Constitution than a 16 year old High School student.

Either way, it's a big "L" forehead tatoo.

Well, okay. I guess everybody has the freedom/liberty to publicly embarrass themselves if they choose.

None. I was referring to saying things that, in retrospect, were best left unsaid.
