oh I forgot about them, perhaps we should compare the DA15 to my Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G (the nikkor is great but when it flares, it flares badly with little rainbows showing up in the frame)

It's gonna need some weather-sealing.
I'd pick up a DA* 16-50 today, just for the job.
Then I'd ask to pardon the SD card at the pearly gates for processing later...

Pardon the SD card? I know it's often 'Damn this, damn that,' but how's that work? It's intriguing, but I'm picturing like a CVS kiosk and TSA employees.

Guess the market hasn't quite caught-up to the reality of the event.
I was hoping some really nice lenses would be available on ebay from people who worry about such things.

I notice that my cat isn't too worried about me leaving to get raptured so I figure that I'm probably not on the list.

If anyone on my street heads up in a blaze of light I'll make sure I get some nice photos to sell to the tabloids. Maybe pay for a new lens that way. I've already given my soul to photography.

I'm playing softball with friends from our church in a Christian softball league. I'll be taking pictures of the game. If the rapture does happen during the game then somebody is going to find some top notch camera gear at the ball field. Anybody know what time? The Bible doesn't seem to say.

Early US flags on display, because a friend asked if I wanted to go.

Interesting...

So people will be called up based on a human created time system called time zones? Which didn't exist until 100-150 years ago.
