I don't get it

GOP presidential hopeful Herman Cain said Sunday he doesn’t have a plan for the war on terror and won’t share his thoughts with voters until he gets into the White House.............“I think it is disingenuous to tell the American people what I would do,” he said.
not the first person to use this line but, honestly, HOW is that a selling point??
Are we really that stupid???

I think he's trying to make himself look more honest.
The problem with his theory is that we would have no idea whatsoever what he will, or won't do. At least when a typical politician makes a campaign promise we know for sure one thing he won't actually do.

It's not likely to float with the voters but since most presidents usually end up doing other than what they promised, he's probably the most honest. All candidates have a serious lack of information that they will find out upon getting the job. However, American elections are a popularity contest and the voter will choose the guy with the smoothest talk, which may or may not be total BS.

And like the fool in the White House currently has any idea of what he's doing and he's been there for years?

Come on the POTUS thinks we have 58 states.

Man you just keep proving my points. You know, your buddy Barry. W was still a better POTUS than the one there now. He's a disgrace to the Constitution.

Time will tell what the effect of his presidency will be; but fool? He had no military background, no Federal service (CIA, FBI, etc), the highest elected position he ever held was U.S. Senator, yet while still in his first term this "fool" managed to get himself elected President.
Acting in the best interest of the country? Crook? Honest? Saint? Devil incarnate? It all depends on who you ask, but the one and only sense in which he could possibly be thought of as a fool is for wanting the job in the first place.

Fool as in the things he is doing right now as POTUS. They are the workings of a fool. No Hussein is highly intelligent and motivated. He knows exactly where he is taking this country. I guess the real fools are those that got him in office.
