So it looks like Anonymous has set their focus on the federal reserve. They are not content to sit by idly as people around the world stand up for their rights. I guess we will start to see tomorrow if the federal reserve has better information security than Sony, Visa, Amazon, and some of the other organizations anon has targeted recently. They better just hope that lulzsec doesn't join the fight because they seem to be some really ruthless SOBs.

Corporate America is bankrupt on levels which are difficult to describe; morally and spiritually bankrupt, not just in the pathologies that guide corporate goals and behaviors, but in the Potemkin shell of free enterprise they present to the world in ceaseless propaganda, and in the manner in which they have cut America loose from their corporate souls.

Corporate America only resides in America because it controls the machinery of governance and regulation here for pathetically modest investments in lobbying and campaign contributions. It would be impossible to replace the global Empire that protects and nurtures it, and so Corporate America maintains its headquarters in America, the better to shape policy and skim gargantuan profits from the Empire and its Central State in Washington.

The return on investment for lobbying and campaign contributions is simply unmatchable anywhere else; it is without doubt the highest return on investment on the planet. And the risk-return is immensely favorable; there is simply no risk that the Empire or the Central State will ever go against the "best interests" of its corporate partners.

Corporate America is not about free enterprise and competition; it's about eliminating competition and forming highly profitable cartels and quasi-monopolies protected by regulations and barriers erected and vigorously maintained by the Central State.

This might be a case where "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." Its interesting to find out that these hacktivist groups are a bunch of Birchers and they are as interested in politics and monetary policy as they are in video games. I did hear that lulzsec has started hitting the US senate.

It remains to be seen what they can do in compelling change by the US government but they were rather successful in their operation against Sony, with anonymous taking down their Playstation network for almost a month and Lulz obtaining and releasing subscriber information. This severely embaressed the company and even prompted a congressional investigation. Lulz routed PBS and posted the Tupac alive story. It will be very interesting to see what happens now that they have decided to butt heads with the US govt.
