Best pun we've heard in a while, anyway?

I think this is going to be a terribly skewed poll since there is no scope to "anybody." The answer is yes if a single person would notice. My wife would certainly notice since I complicate her life to no end. She would probably find it refreshing... LOL Though I do have my uses.

Beyond her, my kids and immediate family though, the answer would probably be NO (well some folks around here might notice too... LOL).

Then maybe it's just a measure of self-deception, eh? Delusions of adequacy. OF COURSE THEY'LL MISS ME WHEN I'M GONE!! But for how long?

For me the question would be, where did we go to?
Because that would be the next vacation spot, with Pentax gear on hand of course.

Well, the spousal unit and the kid & dawgs would notice... The rest of the programmers in my distributed team (and our bosses!) would notice when my email inbox filled up and started bouncing stuff back, and when I never come online in our chat setup, and when my tasks never get done...

The question goes beyond being noticed gone (to me) and should also consider those who'd care that I've gone. If I've meant something to someone enough for them to care, then it adds to the warm and fuzzies of feeling wanted/loved.

But yeah, the wife would find it hard to cope with an unmown lawn and the kids would miss being catapulted onto the trampouline...

That some people would notice there is no question. That any of them would give a flying shit, I have my doubts.

Had to google that name. An interesting story. BTW, how did you buy your Pentax gear if most of the money was never seen in circulation?

One of the interesting things about the story is that he booked the flight as Dan Cooper (thought to have been taken from a comic book character who was a RCAF test pilot). The D. B. was made up by a reporter that thought it sounded better.

Noticed yes.... the inner circle would definitely notice – but as the saying goes life goes on. Now if I had my druthers on which way to be ‘gone’ (sounds like a Monty Python skit I know) – it would be to get my hands on 100 million dollars or so that is enough to ‘be gone’
