Don't know if I can help.
I seem to suffer from a similar affliction, PCBA in my case.
Since purchasing a K200D body in late 2009, I have obtained 2 other K200D bodies (one of the best Pentax offerings), 2 K-x (one converted to full spectrum), a *ist D and a *ist DL. All good and in working condition. I am just thinking of my wife, parents and children.

For lenses I am going the third party lens route. Accumulating MF lenses from years gone by.

I am always thinking that the K200D has been so much unknown compare to the K10...

When you find yourself buying a set of M42 extension tubes, just because the case has the Asahi logo on it, then you are addicted.

There are only two solutions I can think of

1) have a rule that all your Pentax gear must fit into your camera bag and make sure that your bag is of the carryable size, no goalie bags allowed

2) switch brands to Leica. You will end up buying less items. especially lenses.

I shoot in three formats (four if my film and digital Pentax count separately) and all my gear except the 70-200 2.8 fit into their own bag, I cannot buy much for either my MF or LF systems without selling off something I

I can cheat though and borrow from my wife's bags.

Our newest bags have the Pentax label (can hold two bodies, four lenses and still have room for a couple more lenses but must leave room for her lenses that I borrow so cannot buy any more (for now)

Let's see, I have 40 items in the Pentax serial number database here, but I've sold about 10 of those, and the list doesn't include an angle finder and flash and a couple other items. My current Asahi-Pentax stuff inventory is about 35 then. But that's only a small fraction of my accumulation so no, I don't have PBA, I swear it!

Oh I definitely have PBA, I have aquired in the last few months an ME, super A, MX and now an LX and a host of lenses. Thing is my preferred camera to use would always be my Olymus OM2 SP!

I was just about to make the same post.

I sold almost all of my Pentax gear to buy a new Panasonic G3. But I couldn't bear to get rid of ALL my Pentax, so I kept a *ist-DL and a DA-40. That's it, final. Well now I just bought a K-x and a kit lens off Craigslist. It was too cheap not to buy it!

I was shooting with an advanced point n' shoot for a number of years and it was never a problem I guess because I was stuck with one camera and one lens.

Then I bought a single Pentax and used it for a long time before "buying stuff syndrome" set in.

Since then I've owned and/or sold a: *ist-D, *ist-DL, K100d, K200d (two), K20d, K-x (2), and a K-7. Oh yes a K1000 and K-m. I liked them all! (Personally I liked the K200d best for no definable reason).

I've been very good about selling gear I don't use and have even made a small profit over the last few years, but I'm not sure how to get over this. Luckily they all look alike from a distance so my wife will never know....

Greg.

There is no help. You are lost. Just accept it and enjoy your new toys. The only thing that May help, is an empty wallet and even then, I doubt it .
