I am with you on this one. I think some of her ideas are stupid or retarded but that is totally different. I do have a niece that is severely retarded and that is a totally different thing. I know that special or challenged are the correct words but my brother is right, her mental and physical development have been retarded. But it is not a proper name to call anyone no matter how stupid their statements are. For those who defend their use by stating rightfully that the right has been calling them names for years think what McCain once said,,, it is not who they are that counts it is who we are that matters ... or something on that line.

I have watched quite a few of the Bachmann interviews linked here and elsewhere. Her style is to completely ignore the question and respond to some other question, and her answer is invariably the same; it's Obama's fault. This tactic especially applies to questions like Senator, we have indelible proof that you have repeatedly lied about this. How do you respond?

It is infuriating to watch her interviewed, but what really scares me is that US citizens have elected and actively endorse a liar, bigot and religious fanatic like Michelle Bachmann. What a mess.
