Who demonized the eyes of Bachmann?

We're all photographers here so we all have discarded lots of shots through the years because the person we were photographing had the wrong expression or just didn't look good. Choosing bad photos of Michelle Bachmann is just as much an editorial against her as anything in print. Maybe even more so because millions of people will see that cover who will never read the article. The only thing missing is some red eye from the flash. If you don't like her, fine, but Newsweek should have avoided the bad photo. If I was the photographer, I wouldn't want that shot in my portfolio.

Well, in a way the pictures do represent her politics.

It would be difficult to print it all on the cover.

How about after the fact, a photo that generated so much controversy, would you want it in your portfolio simply for the notoriety?

I think she should just fire her stylist, and find one that can use makeup to minimize that look.
She could hire the one that did Tammy Faye Baker.........
