So Gov. Rick Perry is joining the race

Good to see this guy join the race.
After tonights debate, the kitchen is barren of qualified candidates.
Look for the Right to go more right than ever before, they got nothing else.
I always wonder if God told him to run....

Such a small segment of not only the world but also the US. It's odd that they cry the blues when there is a new article about them, especially when the call far right wing conservatives "socialists". It is a very scary time for the US.

I agree. But I wonder if it is scary for the U.S. or for US because if we do not talk about this now what next.

I can only bring a view as an outsider as it's been a few years since I lived in the US, but yes, it is a scary time. Since the opinion is so polarized, the most constructive thing to do is to speak on common ground and I don't think the US is there yet internally.

This is a process and until a larger segment of the population feels the pain, there won't be the political, nor the personal reason to work together. My experience with the US is that loyalty is towards nationalism or the state, and not within the closer community and especially not at the neighborhood level. The structure is "land of opportunity" with an individualistic viewpoint.

I for one, hope we don't get a president that thinks they were chosen by God to run.
Rick Perry is one of those, along with Bachmann.
Silly Sara hasn't heard the word yet, this time.

That rings fairly true to me....with less emphasis on the state in my experience.

What I don't get is the MSM's insistence on calling this a "game changer"? Jeez, as far as I'm concerned, this is yet another nutjob and no better than most of the others.

It is good for Mit Romney and may be good for the party. Splitting up the vote for the Tea Party right could make it easier for a more mainstream Republican to succeed in the primaries.

The truly scary part?
After this years bilderberg meeting, Alex Jones claimed Rick Perry was chosen by that cabal to be our next president.
A game changer Perry is not. On the other hand he looks nice on TV.
The new Reagan?
Time will tell.

This morning's tv news - Perry's hair and general look suddenly brought to my mind Ronald Reagan. Hmmm...

I am always astounded by the fact that the Conservative Religiolocos claim to know what is right for the rest of us. That they have been selected by God.
But they are no different from the Muslim extremists they detest. They are our own homegrown crazies.
So in the end, with these zealots we are lost.
Perry is just the latest, Palin is a new rich wanna be. Bachmann has DNA issues. And these are the standouts?
Yeah political circus is in the air.
