The Republican Debate this past week

I have to say that I'm quite surprised by the lack of commentary here. I always watch both Repub and Dem debates to get some idea of who's out there on both sides.

That being said, although the debate was sometimes surprising (did he/she REALLY say that???) I was not impressed with the field of candidates. I don't know if any could make it a horserace with Obama even though many people on both the right and the left are unhappy with him right now.

*yawn* that 'debate' held no interest at all. The panel of undecided Republicans NPR put together on the other hand was mildly interesting. You know, actual unscripted reactions by people who may even give a damn about the candidates.

their planks are a bit well worn......

Though the Parry write in vote should be interesting... if any actually do it..

I still feel they are both attacking the problem with the "flat earth" economics of the last century and only diverge on which wrong path to go. But the funding stimulates the economy..............

She did really say that to a church. In context, one could say she believes her husband's word is almost equivalent to the word of God.
