What would happen if there were no broadcast political commentary?

Faux News would go broke and the over all IQ of the nation would go up.

Say there was a blackout of any form of political commentary on television and radio. We would have access to speeches, debates, statements, etc. from political candidates, but no commentators to spin the message. How do you think America would react?
Then we would only have the creator of the ad to spin the message. The assumption there is that the message on TV only comes from the candidate. Who would debunk? Granted, there is not enough debunking now, but it seems to me there would be even less.

Radio and TV have simply replaced newspapers. At one time they were all thriving. Things haven't changed all that much, just the medium.
This is very true. Newspapers used to spin their coverage all the time.

And there used to be a lot more really bad ones.

Yes, there were. Our local paper was once deemed "the worst newspaper in America" by the Columbia Journalism Review because of it's constant spinning of its news coverage. Yet, it had such a strangle-hold on the market that it made enough profits to buy the Grand Ole Opry, as well as the OKC Thunder basketball team.

Thanks Tom,exactly what I meant.Left the 'e' off twice too.
That was intentional. If "blond" fox women can bleach the truth out
of the garbage they air. Then Im free to spell as seen befitting.
To do otherwise would be dis-service to blonde's the world over.
