Facts 4 Conservatives

I've seen these kinds of lists go the other way.
It's so unfortunate for neocons that facts have a liberal bias.
But it's true.

Not particularly funny and half of them could be said about liberals/progressives as well.

They are not particularly "factual" either...

Right. Most of them seemed targeted at the religious right, which while very vocal is not indicative of Republicans as a whole. I find this one offensive (as I would if it were said about anyone):

24. A favorite conservative activity: dressing as Nazis to re-enact killing Jews.

I would agree about the Nazi reference being offensive.

However, the Religious Right has working control of the Republican Party, and has probably become a numeric majority of the party as well, especially given the decrease in the number who call themselves Republicans. Evangelical conservatives are usually pegged at around 22% of the population and the vast majority identify as Republicans, who constitute around 30% of the population. If Republicans don't like being identified with the Religious Right, then the party should stop its kowtow to this faction.

OK, I'll give you the nazi one too.
(Never could figure out why anyone bothers to capitalize that .)
I'll take back 1 and 2 though.
Both apply to the conservatives I know.
14 would also create some of the most vehement of arguments you've ever heard, though perhaps not limited to conservatives.
Makes me glad I quit several years ago.
That's a 97%!!!!!
Good for an A............

The issue really has a lot to do with our political system. I don't know what the answer is, but people find that in order to win in primaries, they have to be really polarizing. Middle of the road folks (either conservative or liberal) tend to get pushed out of the way at the primary level and never make it to the general elections.

After all the e mails I've received that are anti liberal, I find this refreshing.

Should have made it 101 though and added one of my own.

101.) You're wrong about that.

I have yet to ever hear a conservative , here or in real life, admit they were politically mistaken.

You'd like Canada, even most of our Conservatives are pretty liberal. Our PM actually thanked the country for giving him a large majority, because now he doesn't have to co-operate with the lunatic right. Before, in his minority government, he needed every vote. So he ended up allowing private members bills on abortion and other issues, onto the order paper, that he knew had no hope of passing, just to keeps the lunatic cons happy.
