Get the K5, sell the K7. Even with interchangeable batteries and the grip, the K7 will likely sit. Your K20 will likely sit as well but if you want the Tethering option, it's best to keep the camera that has the feature. There IS PK-Tether, a third party freeware (for now) but, in my limited experience with it, it's a hit or miss program (Win 7 64 pro). Truthfully, when I first got the K5, I also had the K10, K20, and the K7. All 3 are now gone and I can't say I miss them one bit. Others are now enjoying them and that's just the way it should be (IMO).
I don't know if I would sell a 70-200 to fund the 50-135 but, I would NOT sell my 50-135 to fund the 70-200 either. It would come down to how much use I got out of the 70-200.
I'm not married so I'm not going to attempt to tell you how to deal with your wife. I'll just say this, perhaps she asks your help to post photos on FB to get some more interaction time with you.
