Isn't in interesting that the right wing nuts of the GOP are so eager to get "gummint" out of our lives, but want legal intervention, i. e., government intrusion, into our private lives? I've never understood this cognitive dissonance in their thought processes, such as they are. If that government is best which governs least, why should they care whether gays marry, for example? Do not prohibitions on abortion, birth control, equal rights for LGBT folk, etc, impinge on the individual freedom they espouse?

Oh, now I understand. It's their individual freedom to tell you and me what we may or may not do. Freedom is relative! Now it's all clear.

It makes perfect sense to an American Fascist. To them " 'Liberty' is not about freedom, but the 'liberty' found when one accepts Jesus Christ and is liberated from the world to obey Him".

Well, Goddess, for all they're obsessive about 'pro-life,' they still teach people being born is an awful, awful, thing, that comes from awful, awful squidgy 'sins' that are apparently only made OK by saying it's worse to *not* make babies. It's madness. What do you think comes from it. Meanwhile they both claim to be the sole authorities on sex, try and *starve* babies once born, and claim my people somehow do the opposite of cooing insufferably *whenever* there's a new young one. For all the weight of troubles in the world, and my oft-lamented rootlessness, it's been quite a season for my moderately-breeding tribes throughout the nation.

And *despite* all those troubles, they came *from* joy and welcome *into* joy and welcome.

And no scapegoats were even harmed in the process. Happy thing, (look out world, several new Virgoes comin atcha.
