Don't know if they choked or not but towards the end of the season, they appeared tired, as did the Red Sox and Phillies. At the end of 162 games, it's going to be the teams with enough juice left that go on and win. Some great baseball coming up I think.

I am not sure the Yankees choked as much as A-Roid sucked. It is a shame that Yankees like Jeter, Posada, and Rivera had to waste a long portion of their careers playing along side such a sham player. I long for the day when "former juicers" are gone for good. Then they can also get rid of the DH. Or, at least have it in both leagues after the All-Star break, or when the teams expand their rosters in September. But I digress.

I am all in with the Tigers. I grew up in MI. I remember the Kaline, Horton, Northrup, Freehan, McClain days. Damn I'm getting old!

Well, A-Rod has been a disappointment. At least the other "juicers" of the era usually came through in the clutch, especially Manny. When the game is on the line, A-Rod is more like Casey at the bat. The Yankees have a lot of very good but aging players. Cano, Gardner , and Granderson carried the team this year while the older "stars" spent time on the injured list. The Yankees are still very good despite some of the bad decisions. The stupidest thing they ever did was trade Ian Kennedy and keep Jobba.
