I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't part of a larger Republican strategy to remind voters about how Obama showed his "communist" intentions back in 2008. Instead of running ads or a PR campaign around this topic, this is probably significantly cheaper.

Well, of course, 'Joe The Plumber' isn't so much a 'plumber' as 'A rich guy who makes a half-million a year on a small chain of brokering plumbers' to begin with.

And he's obviously not named Joe, either.

Not that he mentioned any of that while claiming to be a regular guy who just happened to be favoring.... Rich guys like him. I'm not so sure he'd know a vent-pipe if he was farting in it.
