Just out of vicious curiosity: Do we know of websites that publish extensive lists of various retailers' loss leaders?

As for store closings: Down in the county seat, 20+ mountainous miles away, is a WalMart. Across the street is a KMart. Wally's parking lot typically contains several-to-many hundreds of cars at almost any daytime hour. KMart's parking lot typically has a couple dozen cars, mostly belonging to employees. This situation has persisted for at least ten years. Why hasn't Sears-KMart shut down the luzer? Rumor has it that KMart's auto shop dumped too many pollutants into the soil, that a multi-million-buck cleanup would ensue if they ever ceased operations, and that Sears-KMart is just looking for some sucker investor to buy the property and assume liability. Ha.
