Boehner and the GOP had no more intention of taking this 'Supercongress' seriously than they ever had of taking *regular* Congress seriously since they lost the last Presidential election. They showed this. It's no surprise. That thing was a joke from the start.
They were pitching paranoia about Reagan's term 'Czars' like it was a liberal conspiracy, yet they forget that word comes from Caesar, as in Julius, as in how senatorial deadlocks turn Republic to Empire as they want. For their own pluto-theocracy, Through patronage and the like. Right down to the scapegoatings of the same people as ever.
They never *intended* to govern well. If they intended that they wouldn't have had to make a 'supercongress' to do it while kneeling to their Big Money sponsors.
I only hate to say I told you so, cause ...it's getting pretty boring.
