You guys need day jobs

Or at least something to do with your time.

I took a day off from here to go to the rock quarry, the grocery and then to write some code for a few hours. I login and find that there are New Posts: 2,090 (In 484 Threads) in the last 24 hours.

Did any of you do anything today besides read and post here?

I answered several emails about stuff I am selling, sewed the base for another big fashion doll corset, made my folks some new bedroom curtains for Christmas, groomed a couple of animals, made a big pot of spaghetti, and read a 273 page book on Voudun practices in New Orleans. Oh and I posted and read a few posts on here and on a couple of my doll boards. That busy enough for you? 'P I still have to empty and clean the cat box, put the mini tree up this weekend, and hit Walmart with the folks or for them depending upon how they are feeling tomorrow. Other than that I'm sewing mostly.

I am beyond employment. PFC *IS* my day job. I just like to be paid in thumbs-ups. As for other activities (besides reading all sorts interesting crap) I'm currently getting ready to list a bunch of lenses on eBay tomorrow (look for me as R*M) so I'm shooting and editing and describing. Also today I cooked a big batch of caponata and a crockpot full of hamhock-jalapeno chili; did some system reconfiguration including rewriting some scripts; wandered through my forest a bit; and did NOT get up early for the eclipse. Tomorrow, besides the eBay listings, I may work a little more on some lens mods, and cut down some trees (no power saws), and carve a few deities, and re-tune my guitars-banjos-lutes-mandolins-dulcimers. And I'll keep posting here. So many keystrokes, so little time...

EDIT: In case anyone is interested, the lenses and stuff I'll list include: Kodak Signet 35 camera with Ektar 44/3.5 lens; Makinon 28/2.8 (M42); Petri CC 35/2.8 (Petri bayonet); Quantaray 28-80 (Nikon AF); Quantaray 70-300/4-5.6 macro (Sony-Minolta Alpha AF); Minolta Tele-Rokkor PF 100/2.5 (Minolta MD); Sigma-Z 24/2.8 (M42); Takumar Bayonet 28/2.8 (PK-M). And maybe a Nikon EL-Nikkor crystal case.

I'll ask to be excused for posting on Sunday....my day off. This last week, from Monday to Friday, I spent precisely 120 hours at my "day" job. Saturday I spent about another 12 or so.
