Find your stolen camera

Stolen Camera Finder - find your photos, find your camera

Works by searching the exif of images uploaded to the web to find the serial number of your stolen camera.

I'm following a thread on another forum where a stolen 5d MkII was tracked down through images uploaded to Flickr three years after it was stolen. With a little cyber stalking he has been able to find the name, address, employer and phone number of the person using his camera. Police are investigating.

I'm pretty certain the person posting the shots he tracked down likely doesn't know it's a stolen camera. Either that or is just plain stupid as all they would have to do is strip the exif from their uploads
