Just got off the phone with KEH checking on my order (LBA is alive and well here, thank you). Very nice guys there and lots of information. Just wanted to share a few things that I learned this afternoon. I order online nearly exclusively and, frankly, avoid phone ordering wherever possible but I needed to make sure I had put in the correct shipping address for Christmas. Anyway, Dan tells me that you get a wee bit of a shipping break if ordering by phone AND it usually goes out a day earlier (if its in earlier in the day) than if you order online from them. Make certain to call the right number (770) 333-4200.

Thanks for the hint! They are good folk; I've ordered many things from them. Since I live about 30 miles from them your phone ordering tip could be very handy. I could probably call them and then drive to their shop to pick up in person, saving time if not money. I did that to exchange a 645n body which had an electronic glitch discovered a day or two after receipt.

I was told that order by noon and pickup after 3 - however, they charge more to pickup than to ship. Often, if you order by phone early in the day, you can have it the next day.

I have found phone ordering and customer service at KEH to be top notch. It's always great to be able to talk to someone with a pulse and at least in my dealings with them, very knowledgeable about photography and the products they are selling.

I've bought a couple of lenses from them. I must say I got my money's worth and then some. They run some nice bargains and those lenses are usually in very nice condition.

They are a great outfit! They are fair in rating equipment and they will give you a fair price for your used stuff. I got my FA77 from them and the price was the best around at the time. The lens was in near mint condition, just one tiny microscopic paint chip.

Thanks for the tip on phone ordering. I'll have to keep that in mind next time if I'm in a big hurry.

I ordered my second K10D from them by phone and they are great, very knowledgable and friendly.
